The CBD (Cannabidiol) is a compound naturally present in the cannabis plant.. It is one of more than 100 phytocannabinoids that have been identified by scientists. Consuming cannabidiol does not cause no dependence / addictionand unlike the THC - another molecule of the cannabis plant, it is not psychoactive step. This means that you won't feel "high" or euphoric while taking CBD. CBD is believed to have many benefits, the majority of which need to be scientifically proven. In particular, cannabidiol is used to combat against stress, anxiety, sleep disorders, for muscle or joint recoveryor in support of other treatments for diseases such as epilepsy.
The CBD and THC are all cannabinoids derived from the cannabis plant, but they are quite different.
The important distinction is that, unlike the THCthe cannabidiol will not intoxicate you: he has no psychoactive properties.
The CBD may also block some of the intoxicating effects of the THC. By binding to cannabinoid receptors, it prevents THC from activating these receptors. This results in a less intense psychoactive effect.
This does not mean that the CBD, in itself, cannot offer an effect. Large doses of CBD often result in a relaxing experience.
The other major difference is that THC is officially illegal in a majority of countries, unlike CBD. On Kanabiz, however, you will only find only 100% products legal in your country.
The phytocannabinoids in the cannabis plant mimic the endocannabinoids naturally present in our bodies, so they can act as a 'complement' - helping us beyond what our bodies can produce on their own.
The CDB works by binding to cannabinoid receptors in our body's endocannabinoid system (ECS), which is responsible for our overall well-being.
These receptors are present in almost every tissue and cell type in the human body. This explains the seemingly wide range of possible uses for CBD: from treatment of stress and anxietythrough the relief of pain and inflammationor the treatment of diseases such as certain forms ofepilepsy.
Reasons for Consumers to CBD to this one are numerous. Some virtues are confirmed by scientific research while others are yet to be confirmed by science. The latter is still in its infancy concerning the CBD but There is a lot of research, new benefits of cannabidiol are frequently discovered and give much hope.
CBD is commonly used to cope with these ailments/symptoms:
In the context of sport: aches and pains, joints painful, muscle aches and pains
Research is also ongoing and promising for the use of CBD in the treatment of some addictions (drugs, alcohol, tobacco) as well as diseases such as asthma and diabetes.
CBD is also used in the United States for the treatment of severe forms of cancer. epileptic. However, it is important to note that in Europe and in France in particular, CBD products can under no circumstances be sold as a drug/therapeutic treatment. They are in fact considered as feed supplements.
In France, this is the THC which is considered illegal (article R.5132-86 of the Public Health Code), and not the CBD. The latter is not considered as a narcotic substance and this regulation does not apply to the cannabidiol. It is in a grey area in that it is neither considered legal nor illegal under French law. Its marketing is possible if three cumulative conditions are met :
From hemp varieties included in an exhaustive list validated by the EU
Only the seeds and fibres of the plant can be used.
It should be noted, however, that the European law is relatively more flexible, and theoretically prevails over French law.. European law (EU Delegated Regulation 639/2014 and European Regulation 1307/2013) states that varieties of Cannabis sativa L. may be cultivated in the EU provided that they are listed in the EU "Common Catalogue of Varieties of Agricultural Plant Species" and that the THC content of the plant does not exceed a concentration of 0.2 %.
This regulation applies of course to Belgium, a member of the EU. As far as Switzerland is concerned, CBD products are legal as long as they contain less than 1% of THC.
Whatever the case may be, don't worry: the Kanabiz team is constantly keeping up to date with the latest developments. All the products you will find on Kanabiz are legal in your country.
The CBD contained in the many products available may exist in different forms, or rather in various environments : l’CBD isolate (the "pure" CBD molecule only), the Wide Spectrum CBD (or Broad Spectrum - of CBD with the other cannabinoids except THC), and the Full Spectrum CBD (or Full Spectrum - CBD surrounded by all other cannabinoids, including THC).
